Delivering Creamy, Rich, and Authentic Dairy Flavour Across Applications
Dairy and fat system ingredients sit at the heart of some of food manufacturing’s most demanding formulation challenges. Cheese sauces, instant beverages, dessert mixes, confectionery coatings, and creamy dips all need authentic dairy character, smooth texture, and consistent performance, without the supply chain complexity, cost volatility, and shelf life limitations of fresh dairy.

- Creamy & Fat Systems: Non Dairy Creamer for instant beverages, soup mixes, and creamy applications; Fat Powder for richness, mouthfeel, and improved dispersibility.

All ingredients manufactured at our BRC AA-grade certified facility in Kerala, India, in stable ambient shelf life powder format.
Can Non Dairy Creamer replace dairy in instant beverage applications?
Yes. Herbal Isolates’ Non Dairy Creamer is specifically designed for instant beverage applications including coffee, tea, and hot chocolate mixes. It disperses quickly in hot water (85-95°C) without curdling or clumping, provides consistent white color, and delivers creamy aroma and mouthfeel.
It’s suitable for lactose intolerant and dairy free consumers, carries clean label declarations, and offers significant cost advantages versus dairy powder systems. Typical inclusion in three-in-one coffee mixes: 15-30% of total powder weight. For whitener applications: 10-20%.
How does Caramel Powder differ from caramel color?
Herbal Isolates’ Caramel Powder is a flavour and color ingredient produced from natural caramelization of sugars. It provides both golden brown color and authentic caramel flavour — making it useful not just for coloring but for flavour development in confectionery, beverages, and dessert applications.
Caramel color (E150) is primarily a coloring agent with minimal flavour contribution. Our Caramel Powder provides natural color and flavour simultaneously, appears on labels simply as “Caramel Powder,” and avoids E-number declarations that consumers increasingly reject.
What cheese powder variants does Herbal Isolates offer?
Herbal Isolates offers three Cheese Powder variants:
- Cheddar Cheese Powder: Sharp, classic cheese flavour for snack seasonings, cheese sauces, and dip mixes. Most versatile variant for savoury applications.
- Mozzarella Cheese Powder: Mild, creamy flavour for pizza style applications, mild cheese dips, and cream based sauces.
- Processed Cheese Powder: Consistent, blend-friendly flavour for applications requiring uniform cheese taste across large production runs.
All variants are spray dried for consistent particle size, ambient shelf life (12-18 months), and easy integration into dough, seasoning, and sauce systems.
Are your ingredients suitable for vegan and lactose free formulations?
Yes, selectively. Our product range includes both dairy derived and dairy free options:
- Non Dairy Creamer: Lactose free, suitable for vegan and dairy free formulations
- Fat Powder: Lactose free, suitable for dairy free applications
- Caramel Powder: Dairy free, vegan suitable
- Soya Sauce Powder: Dairy free, vegan suitable
- Cheese Powder: Contains dairy derived ingredients, not suitable for vegan/dairy free
